A long-time Yuma resident who has multiple health problems, including multiple sclerosis, lost her home in a tragic fire. Her home and everything she owned was lost in the fire. She reached out to the YSWCA for help and the members did not disappoint! Funded purely by generous donations of materials, labor, and monetary funds, we were able to erect a new 700 sqft home. Several contractors donated their time and/or services:
• Permits were funded by JSA Company and Tomcat Unlimited
• AC Units donated by Lennox Industries
• Sun Power Plumbing provided plumbing
• The plans were drawn by JM Residential Design
• Concrete was donated by Cemex
• Tomcat Unlimited provided labor for the concrete, electrical, and framing
• RAM Pipe donated the plumbing accessories
• Empire Pest donated one year’s service of pest control
• Kris Kraft provided the cabinets
• Foxworth-Galbraith supplied the lumber
• The trim package was provided by Yuma Lumber
• Sheetrock was donated by Tom Lemmon Drywall
• Insulation was installed by Lines & Lundgreen
• Hansberger Refrigeration installed the A/C unit.
• The paint was donated by LG Paint Store
• Emerald Painting did the interior painting
• Tomcat Unlimited did the exterior painting
• Stucco materials donated by ABC Supply
• Stucco work is done by David White Custom Construction
• Sellers Crane Service donated the crane service to set the AC Unit
• Interior Drywall hung the sheetrock
• Interior taping was done by Tomcat Unlimited
• The flooring was done by Flooring America
• Wall texture was provided by Tomcat Unlimited
• Yuma Valley donated the light fixtures
• Trim work was done by Tomcat Unlimited
